I see the design process as a COLLABORATION.  My job is to listen and translate your wishes and hopes into concrete, specific plans to create a yard you can enjoy year-round. Casa Serena Landscape Designs has two basic design services, CUSTOM DESIGN and THE QUICK FIX.

CUSTOM DESIGN FEES:
    Hourly fee: $75/hour.
    How many hours depends on the size of the project.
    Your design proposal will explain your fees in detail.

QUICK FIX FEES:
    $150/2 hours of time.
    Useful for one area of your yard, such as a courtyard, entry or other small area .
    Makes a great gift for a new home owner.


CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS:
STEP 1: We have an initial meeting to discuss your current landscape and what you'd like to achieve with the design. I summarize our meeting in a DESIGN PROPOSAL that I email to you after our initial meeting. If you like the terms of the proposal and feel that I am the right designer, sign the contract, include the retainer fee and we get started.

STEP 2: I come to your house and measure your yard and take pictures. I then create a PRELIMINARY DESIGN, a rough idea based on our initial discussion. It generally takes me 2-3 weeks to create a preliminary design

STEP 3: We meet and review the PRELIMINARY DESIGN. I present the design and you give me your feedback.

STEP 4: I incorporate your feedback to create the FINAL DESIGN. The final design incorporates 2-4 pages for you to take to any licensed contractor to bid the installation of your landscape design.

QUICK FIX PROCESS:
The Quick Fix is the perfect answer for the smaller landscaping jobs, such as a courtyard, entry way or to increase curb appeal. The Quick Fix is a two hour service, where we discuss the area you want addressed, then I do a small drawing and give you a list of plants, resources, stores and anything else you need to achieve your quick fix. It's fast and simple and perfect for a do-it-yourself-er, wanting to tackle a weekend project. Call me BEFORE you go to the nursery and end up with more plants that don't grow in your yard.
